Poverty is one of the heavy opponents of the progression in a nation. Like in Philippines, majority of the Filipinos are suffering from poverty.
All we need is a change. The system in the Philippines is not merely the problem but the issue is within us. We chose to be like this. Why do we suffer today? The answer is simply because of us. The problem is to be blame to no one but the Filipinos. We are the one who move our nation. It is not only the government which is responsible for the country but all of us have the role in this society. But as we can observed, different perspectives, different ideology and different opinions are dealt with us. The solution is to have people with have the same goal to gain nationalism that would lead to the success of a nation. We, as the people of the Philippines represent the country. Being representatives of the country, we mold the nation through every action and every decision we make. Everything starts from the people.
In my opinion, the status of every Filipino reflects the kind of economy and kind of government the nation has. The performance of every sector in the Philippines greatly affect the whole. The key to the success of developing countries like us is to get rid of poverty. If Filipinos would find ways to eliminate the cause of this main problem which people are extensively experiencing, there will have many opportunities that might come our way. Example of which is the self-discipline that will open doors to many possibilities such as: producing responsible citizens, whether politicians or ordinary people, in which anyone would abide the rules and laws, giving importance to the education as a tool for making productive citizens, achieving unity among the people for the attainment of peace, order and justice within nation. These possibilities will result to the alleviation of irresponsible citizens of the country who only think of themselves, the fight against crimes and corruption, and the achievement of the rights of people.
